Getting out of town!

I’ve got less than 2 weeks left in London and I’ve been experiencing some “last time” moments. Some of my friends from work have been heading off on holiday or on courses so I’ve had my last day working with them. I attended my last Ealing meeting this past Sunday. I’ve had my last trip to the theatre in London (as a native anyway!). I’ve been in London for 3 years and 4 months and although I’m really looking forward to getting back to Ireland that’s certainly long enough to have lots of times to look back on with fondness and miss a bit. One of the sources of greatest joy over the last year or so has been my Bible Study group. We’ve been meeting pretty much twice a month and have always had a meal together followed by a discussion on a Bible passage or more recently Thomas Kelly’s A Testament of Devotion.

One of things that’s made the group such a Blessing to be part of has been the commitment everyone has shown to it. We have all put other things aside, come along even if we’re tired or had a bad day and just enjoyed each others company and getting to talk about the things that really matter. I am so thankful to the group and I pray the group continues to grow from strength to strength in the future. In the meantime I will be trying to find fellowship to match it in my new home in Belfast.
